Though each CSPO course varies depending on the instructor, all Certified Scrum Product Owner® courses focus on Scrum from a product owner’s perspective. All CSPO courses are taught by Certified Scrum Trainers (CST) approved by the Scrum Alliance. Like the CSM certification, there is no test for the CSPO certification. Participants of the Certified Scrum Product Owner workshop will receive the CSPO designation from Scrum Alliance. CSPO certification is valid for two years. If you already have CSM or CSD certification, getting CSPO certification automatically extends the validity of your CSM / CSD certifications for two years.

What are the pre-requisites for this CSPO Certification workshop?

We recognize that having basic knowledge of the Agile Values and Principles, Product Management or Product Ownership helps the participants maximize their learning during this workshop.

Upon confirming your registration with Agile For Growth, we email you the pre-workshop Scrum content. This includes useful reading material, short articles, and videos. We highly encourage you to get familiar with the topic before the workshop.

How can I best prepare for the CSPO workshop?

Review the pre-workshop content that we email you.
Plan your workshop days to be distraction free as much as possible. Yes, we know it’s difficult. However, can we sharpen the axe and cut trees at the same time?
Think through the practical Product Discovery, Product Management and Product Development challenges you would like to address after the workshop. Write them down and bring to the workshop.
During the workshop, first, focus on learning the ideas and techniques then the application. Some ideas may be pretty radical for your organization to implement in its current state. Don’t worry. Learn about the idea first and then let’s discuss how you can benefit from it.

Can I do the CSPO Workshop online? Do I need to attend the classroom CSPO workshop?

The Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) workshop is a 2-day in-person classroom workshop. It can not be taken online or virtually. We may share some relevant video as bonus content either pre or post workshop.

The highly interactive and experiential nature of the CSPO Certification workshop makes it essential for the participant to be in the classroom, engage in activities and learn with other participants.

It is like playing Football or Cricket. Team member(s) can not log in remotely to play the game while the rest of the players are on the field.

Do I need to appear for any exam or online test to get the CSPO Certification

No. CSPO Certification does not require any test. After you successfully complete the 2-day workshop, the trainer will recommend your name to Scrum Alliance. Scrum Alliance will email you a link to create your profile and after logging in to your profile, you can download your CSPO Certificate under the Dashboard area.

What is the cost of CSPO Certification Workshop in India in 2017?

This rates of our public CSPO Certification Workshop are shown to you when you choose a particular date + city of the CSPO training and click Register. Usually, in India the CSPO workshop rates fall within INR 23,990/- to 26,990/- (excluding taxes) depends on the city, mode of payment, early bird discount, group registration etc.

CSPO Certification in Pune may cost little lesser than CSPO Certification in Bangalore and CSPO Certification in Gurgaon.

Who provides the CSPO Certification?

The Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) Certification is provided by Scrum Alliance. This certification is valid for two years from the date of issue.

For the convenience of our corporate in-house training clients, we also offer alternate options to choose from such as: Scrum Product Owner workshop with Certificate from Agile For Growth. However, the decision about certifications must be made before choosing and registering for a workshop.

How to renew Scrum Alliance CSPO Certification?

To renew your CSPO Certification login to your ScrumAlliance.org account, under Dashboard and select Renew. Upon paying $100 your CSPO Certification will be renewed for two years.

How many SEUs & PDUs do I earn with this CSPO workshop?

Participants who attend full 2-day workshop are eligible for 16 SEUs (Scrum Education Units) good for ScrumAlliance Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) designation and 16 PDUs (Professional Development Units) good for Project Management Institute ‘s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) and other PMI certifications.
