Agile Team Boot Camp is an experiential workshop by Kamlesh Ravlani, designed to help teams thrive in complex product and service environments. Through interactive simulations and group activities, participants learn Agile values, Scrum practices, techniques, and practical tools to build high-performing teams.

The workshop covers most learning objectives of the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification while also addressing real-world challenges teams face when transitioning to Agile.

Building high-performing Agile teams

Simulation and group exercises on creating empowered and high-performing Agile teams.

Product Backlog management

Creating and refining a product backlog.

Experimentation, hypothesis, and user stories

Approaches to writing hypotheses, user stories, characteristics of good hypotheses, slicing and acceptance criteria.

Agile planning and estimation

Agile iterative planning at different levels — daily planning, sprint planning, roadmap, and vision. Relative estimation, estimation techniques, and why you should eventually stop estimating.

Release planning

What is covered in the Agile Team Boot Camp?

Basic knowledge of Agile values and principles and familiarity with Scrum terminology is recommended. After registration, you will receive pre-workshop reading material to help you prepare for the workshop.

You are encouraged to read the pre-workshop content shared with you, plan your workshop days with minimal distractions, and come prepared to focus on learning and understanding Agile concepts and practices.

No, there is no exam after the Agile Team Boot Camp.

Although the Agile Team Boot Camp covers a significant portion of the learning objectives of CSM and CSPO courses, attending this workshop does not result in CSM or CSPO certification. To earn those certifications, you must attend the respective Scrum Alliance certification workshops. Participants receive a certificate of participation for this boot camp.
